Copper Mountain's SE practice gully

Nice weather, nice snow. If you have a hankering to get into snow gullies this is a good starter one. It kicks up to ~40 degrees in a few places; otherwise, it’s mostly 30 degrees or so and less. You can also “escape” anytime you want.

Janet had an extra lift ticket to burn at Copper so, on this Easter and the last day of the season, I dropped her off and did the short drive to the Climax Mine exit off of 91. I brought snow shoes but left them in the truck. Indeed, this one is melting out fast. Beautiful views of the Gores and Tenmile Range from the top.
