100th Ascent

Post by Beauvais Jeanmard » Thu Apr 27, 2017 7:29 am

Celebrated the 100th ascent of Goat Mountain on Monday 4/24/17! It was me, myself and I almost all the way up. Stopped along the homestretch to do some short rock climbs on the 1st Step. As I climbed up, I noticed a hiker coming up the trail, turns out someone remembered this "historic" day and decided to join me. A new friend I met a few weeks ago made the climb, trying to catch me, luckily for me I wasn't in a hurry to get it done! It was anti-climatic to say the least, good to reach the milestone, but what next? On to the next goal? Just one notch at a time!

I'm sure you'll do more reps, it's a great workout. The good lines never get boring! Congrats, and I'll buy beers next time you're in Boulder! :guiness:

Good work, Beau. That's a LOT of ascents on a good peak! No easy feat.
